Cass Community Social Services Does Great Things

We make a concerted effort to partner with non-profit organizations that do great work that we believe in.

Cass Community Social Services is one of the most impressive ones. They provide just about every essential service you can imagine for folks in need. Food for the hungry, clothes for those in need, and of course shelter for those who need it. Here you can see a development of Tiny Homes in the heart of Detroit.

The Tiny Homes project is really interesting, because they’re helping provide housing in the city of Detroit with a rent-to-own model that builds equity for the people who pay off their own homes.

We’ve worked on a series of short videos for Cass that center on the people in the community that feel the greatest impact from their work. Non-profits survive on their ability to fundraise. And in our experience, focus too heavily on the donors and their generosity. The work is what matters most, and we try to put the focus on the benefits of what those donations have brought into the community.
